As almost all non-profit organizations, MAWA depends on donations and contributions from individuals, corporations, businesses, churches, social clubs, foundations, government, etc. Unlike some well- established non-profit organizations, our participants/clients cannot afford to make donations towards the upkeep of the organization and the programs that sustain them in their time of need. For that reason, we rely a lot on the kindness of strangers who may not need our services themselves but understand the need and place of an organization like MAWA. We are grateful for your financial or voluntary contributions. Your giving allows MAWA to continue providing these programs that help create self-supporting adults and youth with brighter futures. Your support also enables us to fulfill our Mission, run our many innovative and effective programs, and also help with the production and distribution of our publications.

Donations to the Minnesota African Women’s Association are tax deductible for U.S. Taxpayers. Please check with your tax preparer for details. All contributors will receive a letter acknowledging receipt of their gift that can be used for tax preparation.
